I’m a student at Georgia State University. My name’s Justise. Music helps me relax and it helps energize me. I like to chill and exercise and music helps with both of those things.

This website exists so that I can talk about the artists I like. I actually used to listen to waaaay more music a couple years ago. I’ve been falling off recently. What’s crazy is me falling off is still better than 90% of the people I know. Okay I’m done.

I’m using phpMyAdmin to store data about the songs I like, and I’m using php to display those results on webpages in this site. I used WordPress as a template to make the webpages, and I used Javascript for the User Interface components. This website is hosted on an AWS EC2 instance.

So far, I would say that Web Programming has been one of the most frustrating Computer Science courses I’ve ever taken, which is sad because that really should not be the case. But it just felt like nothing ever worked for me in this class, I would have to try over and over again to make it work. When it finally did, the rewarding feeling that I got was unmatched. But all the struggling up until that point was just terrible.

Even though this class has been extremely frustrating at times, it is also incredibly useful. Having experience in front and back-end development is invaluable, and I’ve actually been using what I’ve learned in this class about HTML and PHP in my Software Engineering course. I know that I’ll continue to use what I’ve learned for the rest of my Computer Science career.
